Roy Rankin

Roy is the younger brother of one of my very good friends. I have known him for some time now and when he approached me about doing his grads I was a bit shocked - I didn't think he was that old! Never the less, we had a fun time (whatever fun 8am brings). I have been so happy to have this family in business!

First Post!

Well, my first post - and I cannot think of better subject matter to start with! This is, of course, my wonderful niece, Isabelle Jane.

To start, I am Matthew Denney, a passionate photographer specializing in portraiture of anywhere from children, families,

seniors - to one of my favorites - weddings! I have just come out of a busy wedding season and I am still in the swing of processing the images - but I look forward to posting those!

My passion of photography takes my interests throughout the field - and though I do a lot of portraits, I would be just as happy making photographs solely with a 4x5 and film. It is not so much the technology that intrigues me - rather the art of making a photograph. Two of m

y favorite and most influential photographers (Joe McNally and Alec Soth) shoot wildly different. Bottom line - Photography is who I am. And as you will soon see, I practice endlessly where ever I am, and on whomever I am with.

So now, it will be my intent to

use this to post a variety of what I am up to photographically - be it senior portraits, weddings, random artwork - my wide interest in the photographic medium will be quite apparent.
